If you want to get on these payment plans, then why don't you hold off sending the aggressive letter till later. About 7 years ago, I was in your shoes and I got very aggressive with all the CA's listed on my CR. Some were deleted, some I made settlement deals with, and some I had to go as far as sending a Petition to their Registered Agent before they would cooperate. I won both lawsuits as well as a total of $2000.00 and my court costs and they still had to delete their Trade Line. Another one agreed on the Friday before the Monday court date to delete their Trade Line. It took a whole year to clean up my CR and a whole lot of Certified Mail. It was a rough year, but I got through it and so can you!!
No one tried to sue me, but they sure threatened.
