Gulf State!!!!!!

I know that for some of you, this is probably a tired old record spinning again and again. But today was my first "physical" contact with them today. I don't deny the debt... I was unable to pay off a credit card and Gulf State, obviously, bought it. I'm now in a debt management program and Gulf State absolutely refuses to "get with the program". They claim that I am not paying the debt. I pay $50 dollars a month and have done this for 7 months (like I said, I don't deny the debt). When I asked for a paper statement along with who the original creditor was, I was told the only information they have is my account information with my bank. I explained about the debt program and a Mr. Robinson got extremely rude and refused to speak to me anymore... No problem . I'm closing my bank account (they claim that since they have that information, they "will get our money one way or another") because that is the one thing I am worried about... them taking money out.
Okay.. so the point of this is... who and how do I contact to report them. BBB... right? Any of the major credit bureaus?
And... I need to let my credit report reflect that I am paying my debts through a counseling service. How do I go about doing this?
